Orland Park features more than 30 miles of trails, almost 140 athletic fields and 60 parks. There are over 300 acres of open space to have fun outdoors. Lots of playgrounds for the kids, walking and biking trails, forest preserves bring fun for every activity and age level. There are over 30 baseball and softball fields, “The Dogout” dog park and even bocce courts. Orland Park really does have something for everyone when it comes to the outdoors. During the warmer months there are outdoor movie nights and concerts in the park.
After all that fun, go cool off in the the pool or lazy river at the Centennial Park Aquatic Center.

Orland Square Mall, Orland Crossing and Over 100 Restaurants
Shop til you drop at Orland Square Mall, Orland Park Crossing or find antiques in the downtown area. There are hundreds of places to stroll and shop in Orland Park.The area continues to be a huge shopping destination. Everything from car dealers row on 159th to furniture stores, upscale shops and the mall bring shoppers from all over the region to Orland Park. Now that construction is (finally!) finished on La Grange rd, it is much easier to travel from spot to spot. After all of that shopping you can visit Gizmo’s Fun Factory or Sky Zone located right by the mall to let the kids have some fun.
Orland Park is also home to over 100 restaurants that range from upscale, to down home along with many different ethnic cuisines. Diners can find familiar chains like The Cheesecake Factory and Coopers Hawk along with some local independent gems like Wooden Paddle Pizza and Osteria Ottimo.
